Quick answer
How do you use Manuka honey on your skin?
Spread a thin layer of raw Manuka honey over clean, dry skin, leave it for 10–15 minutes, then rinse with warm water. Use it as a face mask once or twice a week, as a gentle cleanser or on your lips. Patch-test on your inner arm first. We recommend UMF™ 20+ or 24+.

Why Manuka
Not all honey works this hard.
Manuka honey is different from table honey, and the difference is measurable. Here's why so many customers keep a jar in the bathroom as well as the kitchen.
MGO — the measurable difference
Methylglyoxal (MGO) is Manuka's signature compound, identified by researchers as the source of its unique natural activity.2 Every jar states its exact MGO level.
A natural humectant
Honey is naturally hygroscopic: it draws moisture from the air and holds on to it. That's why it has featured in beauty rituals for centuries.1
One ingredient, full stop
No fragrance, preservatives or fillers. Just honey, independently tested to the UMF™ standard and traceable to the hive.
“Excellent taste, quality and wonderful for face mask.”
The skincare ritual
Three ways to use one jar.
Manuka works on skin the way it works in the kitchen: simply. Always apply to clean skin, rinse with warm water, and patch-test on your inner arm first.
Manuka works on skin the way it works in the kitchen: simply. Apply to clean skin, rinse with warm water, and patch-test on your inner arm first.
The 15-minute face mask
Spread a thin layer over clean, dry skin. Leave for 10–15 minutes, then rinse with warm water and pat dry.
The gentle cleanse
Warm a small amount between damp fingertips, massage over your face for a minute, then rinse. No foam, no tight feeling afterwards.
Spot-apply overnight
Dab a little onto one area before bed and cover with a small patch. Rinse off in the morning.
Real results, every strength
Whichever jar you pick, you're in good company.
“I purchased this Manuka homey to help with acne, redness and overall skin dullness. It’s been a game changer! I use it everyday as a cleanser or a mask. I’ve noticed a huge difference in my skin. Will continue to purchase and looking forward to trying a higher UMF next time.”
“This honey deeply repairs skin. I tried all creams for the sensitive place around the eyes but nothing acted like this honey: now my skin is not dry, but smooth.”
Nothing but honey
pure, raw New Zealand Manuka honey. Nothing added, nothing removed.

Customer story
“My skin was glowing after washing it off.”
“I had to wait over 2 weeks to get my Manuka due to the NZ floods, but boy was it worth it. No rancid smell on opening, the taste is definitely one of the best that I’ve tried. I applied the honey on its own to my skin as a face mask for 1.5 hours (could’ve gone for longer but I was short of time), and my skin was glowing after washing it off. Would definitely recommend this company.”

Good questions
Before you decide
Is Manuka honey a skincare product?
Manuka honey is a food, and ours contains nothing but honey. Many customers also use it on their skin as a simple, one-ingredient mask or cleanser. It isn't a treatment for any skin condition. If you see a dermatologist, check with them first.
How long should I leave Manuka honey on my skin?
Around 10–15 minutes. Spread a thin layer over clean, dry skin, relax, then rinse with warm water and pat dry. Follow with your usual moisturiser. Once or twice a week fits most routines. Stop if you notice redness, itching or stinging, and patch-test on your inner arm before first use.
Should I patch-test first?
Yes. Apply a small amount to your inner arm and wait 24 hours before using it on your face. If you're allergic to bees, pollen or honey, don't use it.
Isn't it sticky?
Straight from the jar, yes. It spreads more easily on slightly damp skin and rinses off completely with warm water.
Can I mix Manuka honey with other ingredients for a mask?
Yes. Many customers keep it simple with honey on its own, while others stir a spoonful into plain yoghurt, oats or a little mashed avocado for a thicker mask. Mix fresh each time, use a clean spoon so nothing goes back into the jar, and rinse off after 10–15 minutes.
Which Manuka honey is best for a face mask?
Customers use UMF™ 20+ (MGO 829+), 24+ or 26+ for their face-mask ritual, choosing the richer grades for a thicker, more indulgent texture. Our single-serve Packets hold just enough for one mask, so every application is fresh. Whatever the grade, it's raw, UMF™ certified honey with nothing added. Patch-test on your inner arm first.

“I have integrated this product in my skincare routine and I absolutely love it. I have acne-prone, dry skin on my face and ever since I began using this product (about 2-3 weeks ago) I have noticed a significant difference in the moisture retained in my skin. I’m literally glowing, and there has been a significant reduction of acne that I have had.”

“I had already tried a lot of things that were supposed to help my skin problem and by that I mean raw honey for my face. Since the honey from the supermarket didn't really have any effect, I looked into Manuka honey and bought the MANUKA 15+ straight away from your Website and I have to say that I am really impressed with this product. I have been using Manuka honey for about a week now and I can happily say that my skin has really improved a lot. I also think the taste of the honey is much better than other honey. I will definitely buy it again!”
