Frequently AskedQuestions

What is Flex and what is their relationship with New Zealand Honey Co?

We have partnered with Flex to allow you to use your Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA). This means you can now use your HSA or FSA debit card to buy select Manuka honey products with pre-tax dollars, resulting in net savings of 30-40%, depending on your tax bracket.

How do I pay with my HSA or FSA card?

At checkout, select Flex as your payment method and enter your HSA/FSA debit card as you would any standard card.

What if I don't have my HSA/FSA card available?

You can pay with a regular credit/debit card and submit the itemized Flex receipt to your HSA/FSA plan for reimbursement.

Why can't I see Flex as a payment method?

Flex is only available on qualifying products. Ensure your cart contains an HSA/FSA eligible item.

Why is my HSA/FSA card being declined?

Confirm the card details, available balance, and that your plan covers the specific item category.

I submitted my Flex itemized receipt for reimbursement and my HSA/FSA requires more information?

Contact Flex support — they can provide additional documentation or a Letter of Medical Necessity if required.

I didn't receive an email from Flex with my itemized receipt and/or letters of medical necessity. What do I do?

Check your spam folder or reach out to Flex customer service to resend the documentation.

Can I use my HSA/FSA card on subscription orders?

HSA/FSA payments via Flex are available on one-time purchases only and cannot be applied to subscription orders. If you'd like to use your HSA/FSA benefits, simply place a one-time order instead. You can still enjoy savings through our Subscribe & Save program using a standard payment method.
