  2. Add a layer of Greek yoghurt.

  3. Drizzle manuka honey over the yoghurt.

  4. Add a layer of granola or nuts.

  5. Repeat this combination of layers until the glass is full.

Grilled fruit skewers with manuka glaze

Take your fruit game to the next level with these grilled fruit skewers. The manuka honey glaze enhances the fruit's natural sweetness, making it a delightful treat the whole family can enjoy.

Ingredients:

  • Pineapple chunks

  • Peach slices

  • Watermelon cubes

  • Manuka honey

  • Lemon juice

Instructions:

  1. Cut your pieces of fruit into approximately 1 inch chunks.

  2. Thread the fruit onto skewers, alternating between pineapple, peach, and watermelon.

  3. In a small bowl, mix manuka honey with a splash of lemon juice. If your honey is too thick, you may need to warm it gently in a water bath to make it runny first (or try our squeezy honey).

  4. Brush the glaze onto the fruit skewers.

  5. Grill the skewers for 3-4 minutes on each side until caramelised.

  6. Serve hot with an extra drizzle of honey if desired.

This dessert is great as a light and refreshing end to your meal.

If you have different seasonal produce available in your local area, try other fruit combinations such as apples, pears, and apricots.

Where To Buy Manuka Honey You Can Trust

Did you know that manuka honey is one of the most commonly faked foods in the world?

Because it’s in such high demand and limited availability (only a small amount is produced each season), many of the products you see on store shelves are diluted, blended or adulterated.

That’s why we at New Zealand Honey Co. are so strict about where we source our honey from. As the name suggests, the beekeepers we work with are located in the remote and pristine areas of New Zealand.

We source only the highest-quality, raw, pure, kosher, halal, glyphosate-free, non-GMO, independently tested, UMF™ certified manuka honey.

(Try saying that 3 times backwards…)

 We only deal in real.
